So Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays will be my days to write here on the blog.
I thought I could use this first post to just briefly tell about my part in this project.
I have two main focuses: projection and painting. The first small "event" I will organise is a performance which will take place at campus next thursday. Basically will use eight double-length sleeves I have knitted to connect eight people to each other. Then they will be asked to perform something for 10 minutes while I film them. I want to investigate team work and leader-follower roles within a group. It will be interesting I think and hopefully also really fun!

In preparation for this I have booked 3 videocameras for thursday and I used last sunday to practise filming because I've never really used a videocamera before. Fingers crossed I will manage to get something recorded then : )
The film of this performance I will edit and later project in various places( hopefully also the gallery space we are hoping to get to exhibit in). So the performers will be projected, dancing on the surface like ghosts.
My second focus will be painting and more precisely how to exhibit paintings which I am working on with the theme of mental landscapes, identity and questions. I call them my "question cards" and they are slightly inspired by Tarot reading cards. But I will tell more about this next time it's my time to write. And I also want to tell you about the experiment I took part in yesterday(which Jennie mentioned) but that will be much more exciting to tell about when I get some documenting photos which the guys documenting the whole thing promised to send me. So hopefully I will soon have some photos to share with you about a creative skype-meeting between the UK and France.
