Red Thread Trail

Today I organised the social sleeves performance which I mentioned earlier. It took place on UCA campus 11 am. Preparations started about an hour earlier when I got the 3 videocameras+1 tripod I had booked for this occasion. (To be completely honest the first preparation was to get the last signature I needed in order for my risk assessment form to be valid). I was terribly nervous nobody would turn up but fortunately some volunteers joined in and we managed to use 7 of 8 sleeves when I myself jumped in as volunteer number 7. Two friendly souls helped me to document it all, so there were three videocameras in different posts+ one photo camera moving around taking pictures. The "action" bit of the performance lasted for only 7 minutes but we had the cameras running for over 20 min, documenting the set up and also the "epilogue" where I offered jelly beans as a reward to all performers.

This afternoon I have spent editing the films, I want to save one unedited version and 2-3 differently edited. Summary of the day then: I had great fun, the others seemed to have a good time, jelly beans are delicious...well I don't know what more to include really.
