Wednesday 6th Febuary

The plan is that each day one of us does a new post. I am doing Wednesdays and Sundays with the odd extra day!
It has been quite a day at Uni. It started with a rush into the machine workshop to finish off my medal for the British Museum competition.  It needed sanding down, and some of the letters needed to be redone before it was sent off. It is made in Pewter and is to be held in the hand. The underside is sandblasted and is grey, with a raised ridge around the two slots. It is inspired by Malala Yousafzai.

I then went into the machine shop again, this time to buy wood and to make a plinth to stand a projector on when I do my home film showings. Well, after that was done I negotiated to use the college corridor to sort out my last silk screen prints. I did them in view of hanging them in a sequence.  I only have this picture of them that I took before I tidied up the hanging of them. They will now stay in the corridor until Friday. All neatly in line now!! I have three sets of three.

Then off for an hour sketching in the Cathedral and to do some research. Things are pretty busy at UCA at the moment.  (I popped in to see what Nadja was doing…she will explain all. It is exciting).
