Hello!

Today I have actually had a kind of redthreadtrail-rehab day and I have not done anything in particular for the project, except that I have been e-mailing our contact person at Crate where we are now trying to find a date to squeeze us in on their almost fully booked hiring schedule. We have also been offered a meeting with this contact person to discuss and she maybe can give us a bit of feedback on our proposal and suggestions on how to improve it, as she is a professional in this field. It will be really interesting to meet her and hopefully get some good advise for the future.

Now I want to give you the link to a blog where images from the SKYPE drawing experiment I was a part of several weeks ago(Thursday 7th February to be more precise). Back then I promised to write a bit more about this once I got the photos. And now I've got the photos!

So, this was a collaboration between UCA and Lyon University in France. Through Webcam connection and by using the network program SKYPE a group of students here in the UK and a group of students in France had a drawing session where students could stand in front of the webcam and be filmed and projected in the other country, where the students there could draw onto the projections or stand in front of them or interact in some other way and this was in return filmed and projected back in the first place. The result was quite surreal and beautiful. It was a social and exciting event and we even tried out my social sleeves in front of the camera, but the photos of that can not yet be found on the blog.

Take Care and have a nice Saturday!
